9715 is a restaurant review site run by a small group of friends. There is nothing to sign up for, nothing to subscribe to, and no advertising. We do not sell anything and we do not sell data.

The apps collect nothing about you. Your bookmarks and your location stay on your phone. The website counts page views so we know which reviews people read, and — like every website — its host keeps ordinary request logs.

The iOS and Android apps have no accounts, no analytics or advertising software, and no crash-reporting service. They do not use an advertising identifier.

Location. If you tap "Near me", the app asks for approximate location. It uses that location on your device to work out how far each restaurant is from you, and it is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. Nothing is stored: turn the sort off and it is gone. You can refuse, and every other part of the app still works.

Saved reviews. Bookmarks are written to your phone's own storage so the Saved tab keeps working with no signal. They never reach a server, which also means they do not follow you to another device.

Caches. Reviews and photos you have already opened are kept on the device so they stay readable offline. You can clear the image cache from the About screen, and uninstalling the app removes everything.

What leaves your phone. Reading reviews means fetching them from 9715.ae, which sees the request the way any web server would. On Android, the map on a review page loads tiles from OpenStreetMap, so their servers receive your IP address when a map is drawn.

Request logs. The site runs on Cloudflare, which handles every request and keeps standard logs — IP address, browser and device string, the page asked for, and the time. This is how the web works; we use it to keep the site up and to spot abuse, not to build a profile of you.

Analytics. Every page loads a small script from st.monoblock.ae, run by MonoBlock, which counts page views so we can see which reviews are worth writing more of. It is not an advertising network and we do not use it to follow you to other sites.

Maps. Review pages embed a map from OpenStreetMap. When one loads, your browser talks to openstreetmap.org directly, and their servers receive your IP address. Their policy is at osmfoundation.org.

Cookies. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only browser storage we use is a sign-in session for the handful of people who edit the site, and it is never created for a reader.

There are no comments, no newsletter, and no contact form, so there is no general way for us to end up holding your name or email address.

We keep the list of third parties as short as we can. Today it is: Cloudflare (hosting), Supabase (the database the reviews live in — it holds articles, not readers), MonoBlock (the page-view counter above), and OpenStreetMap (maps). If you install an app, Apple or Google handles that download under their own privacy policies, and we receive only the aggregate figures their consoles show every developer.

9715 is a restaurant guide written for adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Because we do not hold accounts, in almost every case there is nothing of yours for us to hand over or delete — it is on your own device, and uninstalling removes it. If you think we hold something about you and you want it explained or erased, write to us and we will deal with it.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. If a change is significant — if we ever start collecting something we do not collect today — we will say so plainly rather than quietly editing a line.
