Karak Rahma is one of those spots you don’t just stumble upon — you plan the drive. Sitting on the side of the road, far from the usual buzz, this tiny café is known for doing the basics really well.

It’s our regular detour when we’re craving a solid cup of karak, along with luqaimat or ragaag. Despite the location, it’s almost always busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, it’s worth it every time. Everything tastes fresh, and the presentation is surprisingly neat for a roadside spot.

It might be out of the way, but that’s part of the charm. This is the kind of place you set your GPS for when you’re in the mood for a long drive and a proper karak at the end of it.
