# About 9715

What does the name, 9715, mean?

Our brand is deeply rooted in the UAE, and we wanted a name that reflects this strong local connection. Since mobile phone numbers in the UAE commonly start with “9715,” it perfectly encapsulates our hyperlocal focus and commitment to the region.

At 9715.ae, we’re passionate about food and want to share that love with others. Our platform was created by a group of friends who enjoy exploring new dining spots but often struggled to remember their favorites. 9715.ae serves as our digital diary, chronicling these discoveries and sharing them with you.

We cover a wide range of eateries across the UAE, from budget-friendly gems to more indulgent dining experiences. Our focus is on concise, accessible reviews (pun intended) that are quick to read and easy to navigate. We also highlight standout dishes and features from each venue to give you a clear idea of what to try.

If you’re new here, we recommend you try the [Browse](https://9715.ae/browse/) page first, where you can filter by category or the [Areas](https://9715.ae/areas/) page where you can narrow down by area. We also have a [Map](https://9715.ae/map/) view if thats what you prefer.

FAQ

How is the rating calculated?

For each location we review, we assess four key themes: Ambience , Taste , Service , and Price . The overall rating is then calculated using a weighted average of these factors, resulting in a final score out of 5.
