Cinnamood

If you've ever defaulted to Cinnabon for a cinnamon roll fix, Cinnamood, located inside Mall of the Emirates, next to Vox cinemas, is worth a detour. The spot itself is small, but they pack in a surprising amount of variety, and the whole place has a nice aesthetic that makes you want to linger a bit longer than you planned. Everything tasted fresh, none of that slightly stale, sitting-around-too-long texture you sometimes get. We went with the caramel apple crumble roll and it did not disappoint. The coffee deserves a mention too. It was genuinely good on its own and paired well with the sweetness of the roll instead of fighting it.
Service was a highlight. They took the time to walk us through the options rather than rushing us, which we appreciated. We've heard the speculaas roll is one of their best, so that's already on the list for next time.
If you're a cinnamon roll person, give it a shot. It holds its own against the bigger names.
