Chongqing Noodle House

Tucked away under a low-key building in International City, Chongqing Noodle House is one of those places you usually hear about through word of mouth. Walk in and you’re immediately hit with the smell of hot noodles and rich broth, the kind that makes you hungry even if you weren’t planning to eat. The space is small, with around ten tables, but it’s almost always busy.

We tried the Beef Noodle Soup, Fried Beef Noodles, and the Chicken Wontons, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them. Portions are generous, prices are very reasonable, and everything feels freshly made. The staff are friendly and happy to guide you if it’s your first visit, often recommending their own favourites.

If you’re in the mood for proper, no-frills Chinese noodles that deliver on flavour without burning a hole in your wallet, Chongqing Noodle House is well worth a stop in International City.
