Al Ikhtayar Al Awal is located along Maleha Road, approximately 30 minutes from Sharjah Mosque. At first glance, it may appear to be just another roadside cafeteria, but the food truly sets it apart. Our go-to dishes are the Mutton Suwa Mandi and the Mini Mix Grill, both generously portioned and ideal for two to three people.
Although the menu offers a wide variety of Indian and Chinese options, we’ve consistently been satisfied with our favorites. Be mindful that weekends can get very busy, and the Mutton Suwa Mandi is not always available; so it’s worth calling ahead to confirm.
Overall, Al Ikhtayar Al Awal is an excellent stop if you’re driving towards Khorfakkan and looking for a hearty, satisfying meal.
