If you're driving along [Jumeirah](https://9715.ae/dubai/area/jumeirah/) Street through Umm Suqeim at night and spot a long queue of cars, you've probably reached Rumailah Cafe, right beside [Artisan Bakers](https://9715.ae/dubai/artisan-bakers/). It's the [Dubai](https://9715.ae/dubai/) outpost of Rumailah Farm, the Fujairah dairy that milks its own herd of Jersey cows, and everything here is made from that milk.

The milkshakes are the thing to order, and mango and peanut butter are the two we'd send you for; a medium is about AED 25. The shakes are thick and fresh rather than syrupy, which is the Jersey milk doing its work. The chocolate ice cream is churned from the same milk, and the Spanish latte is the coffee we'd pick.

On weekends, expect a 20-to-25-minute wait. It's mostly a drive-through: seating is just a couple of tables outside, so don't plan on lingering. Insider tip: park at the rear and walk round to the main entrance rather than waiting in the drive-through queue.

Go for a late-night milkshake on the way home along the beach road, not for a sit-down coffee.
