RAW Coffee Company was roasting speciality coffee in [Dubai](https://9715.ae/dubai/) in 2007, before the city had much of a coffee scene, and it still roasts its beans in the [Al Quoz](https://9715.ae/dubai/area/al-quoz/) warehouse you drink in. Find it at Warehouse 10, on the corner of 7A and 4A Street off Al Manara Road, next to the RTA car park (plenty of parking out front).

The coffee is excellent, and the list is long, so there's something for everyone. The flat white is strong and intense, and the cold brew tastes of roasted almonds and a little sweet fruit, with almost no acidity. Ask the barista which single origin they'd pour for you, since the beans rotate with what's been roasted that week. The breakfast menu is fresh and healthy with plenty of variety, especially if you like eggs: eggs on sourdough start at AED 30 and the Big Brekkie is AED 60. There are Kiwi pies too, pepper steak among them.

You order food from your table rather than queuing at the counter. The roaster keeps going all day while you eat, the tables fill with laptop workers and coffee-trade regulars, and weekends are packed, so come on a weekday if you want a quiet table. The one catch is value: breakfast portions are on the small side for the price.
