Tucked beneath a residential building in [Dubai](https://9715.ae/dubai/) Sports City, Pulcinella is a modest spot serving authentic Italian food. We were told this place had a bit of a reputation for being hard to find, and sure enough, we got a little lost before asking for directions, but we eventually found the signs leading to the restaurant.

The room itself is understated and the decor a bit dated, so don't expect anything fancy, but the food was evidence of the place was so busy, with people lining to get a table. There was outdoor seating as well, but it seemed a bit loud, so we opted to sit inside, where we managed to find a table after some waiting. We followed a recommendation and ordered the Diavola Pizza, with its thin, crispy crust, and the Ravioli ai Formaggi. Both were delicious, with fresh ingredients and generous portions, but the standout dish was the Pizza. The food here is the star.

We spent about AED 65 per person for our meal. Expect to get a little lost on your first visit, but it's part of the adventure. If you're in the mood for pizza and don't mind a hunt, Pulcinella won't disappoint.
