# Ice Kream

Ice Kream bakes its cones fresh, and you smell the butter before you reach the counter. It sits on [Jumeirah](https://9715.ae/dubai/area/jumeirah/) Road in Umm Suqeim, opposite the Invisalign Centre, and it's a great stop for late-night ice cream, with softies, gelato and a long line-up of popsicles.

The softies come in flavours like chocolate, vanilla and pistachio, and the gelato runs to Nutella and Ferrero, among others. What sets them apart, though, is the cones: a classic cone, a chimney cake cone, or a striking black charcoal one. Two medium desserts come to about AED 50.

We'd usually go for the mango and black coconut ice cream in a freshly made cone, but after the staff recommended the Ferrero in a chocolate cone, we tried that out as well and it was a good recommendation.

There's indoor seating with counter service, but you can also order drive-thru from the car through the Drivu app, which is the easier move on a weekend night. Service can be slow and muddled when one person is working the whole shop, so don't come in a hurry.

Worth the detour for anyone driving Jumeirah Road late who wants a cone that's still warm.
