Chaat Bazaar is a hole-in-the-wall in the Mabrooka Building on 6A Street, near [Karama](https://9715.ae/dubai/area/karama/)'s Pyramid Building, and its pani puri is assembled by hand, one at a time, at a small serving window.

The classics are all here: Vada Pav (AED 15), Sev Puri and Samosas. If you want something more adventurous, try the Pani Puri, but be ready for a bit of heat: six cost AED 8, and the warm potato filling against the cold pani is the point. The last one comes without the pani, a crisp puri that reviewers describe as a palate cleanser. We've also had the Pav Bhaji and the Ragda Pani Puri and we recommend them both. Finish with a Kulfi or a cup of tea.

Seating is outdoor only, at picnic-style tables beside the window, and with more than 2,600 Google reviews it draws a steady crowd, so you may have to wait for a spot. Go on a weekday; weekends are the busiest.

Worth it if a plate of pani puri for AED 8 at a pavement picnic table sounds like dinner, and not if you want air-conditioning and a proper chair.
