6.8 Cafe started as a car collector's hobby that grew into a maintenance and bodywork business, and the café now sits inside its showroom on 22nd Street in [Al Quoz](https://9715.ae/dubai/area/al-quoz/) Industrial 3. Like [Flat Twelve Cafe](https://9715.ae/dubai/flat-twelve-cafe/), it's a car-themed café, but here you eat indoors among the owner's collection of classic and exotic cars, vintage Mercedes models especially.

It's easy to drive past, so watch for the showroom on 22nd Street.

The coffee is excellent, the breakfasts are hearty and the burgers are surprisingly good. The Evo 6.8 Burger is the one to order: a fresh beef patty with American cheese, tomato, iceberg lettuce, pickles and the house 6.8 sauce, with fries on the side, for AED 60.

For breakfast, we'd go for the Turkish Breakfast or the English Breakfast, with one of their well-made cappuccinos (AED 30) alongside. Regulars order that pairing of cappuccino and English Breakfast: sunny side up eggs, beef bacon, beef hot dog, grilled mushrooms and cherry tomatoes with baked beans and toast, for AED 70. The downside is price at the top of the menu: the Turkish spread is AED 120, nearly double the others, excluded from offers and only served until 2 PM, so arrive before then. The "VIP" Mercedes Benz and 300 SL coffees cost AED 50 to 55, close to twice the regular list.

Worth the trip to Al Quoz for car enthusiasts and anyone after a big breakfast or a burger somewhere more interesting than a mall.
